If you've included Liberty's Income Protector benefit in your risk portfolio, you know that it covers you against a wide range of potential risks which threaten your income.
But we know that your needs constantly change. It's our job to make sure that we keep up with both you and the trends in the market to make sure that you are covered. Which is why we have added some innovative new benefits to our existing Income Protection benefit offering.
Enhancements to improve your Income Protection benefits
As of 1 November 2019, we have integrated Absolute Income Protector (AIP) and Extended Absolute Income Protector (EAIP) into one seamless and comprehensive benefit called Income Protector
You now have access to the following additional features:
Dual occupation
Call it a side hustle, second job, , following your passion or developing your next career – if it makes up 20% of your annual income, we will cover it!
Top up to 100% after 24 months payment
We now offer you the ability to increase your income protection cover past 24 months from a limit of 75% to your full after-tax income. You are now able to cover your full income throughout your working life, to protect you if you become critically ill or occupationally disabled that prevents you from working and earning an income.
Bonus cover payment
