Critical Illness cover options

Liberty offers a variety of options for Critical Illness cover.

Living Lifestyle

The Living Lifestyle Benefit pays out a lump sum if you are diagnosed with one of the 31 specified conditions.  Payment is determined by determining the severity and level of the Critical Illness based on the benefit categories and payment criteria as outlined by Liberty.  There are more options that are available on Living Lifestyle to provide for more comprehensive protection.

There are a number of benefit categories covered by Living Lifestyle:

Living Lifestyle/Plus

  • Living Lifestyle Plus has several benefit categories and claims in any particular category will only accelerate the sum assured in that particular benefit category. A claim under one category will not affect the amounts available for any other category, or accelerate the life cover.
  • Living Lifestyle Plus is a core risk protection benefit.
  • Living Lifestyle has the same benefit categories, but each claim for the Critical Illness benefit will accelerate the life cover for the amount of the claim. Once 100% of the sum assured is claimed, the Critical Illness cover ceases.
