Security Alert: Phishing email sent from Dropbox

Please be on the lookout for a phishing email circulating around.

The email notifies the user of a payment notification that was sent via Dropbox. At no time will Liberty send information via Dropbox. The email contains a malicious attachment. The sender appears to be from Liberty Life Insurance however the email address is JessicAmerie@liberty.co.za. Jessic Amerie is not a Liberty employee and the email address sending this phishing email does not exist within Liberty.

We ask all employees to be extra vigilant. If you receive any suspicious email, do not open any attachments it may contain. Report it to Information Security or any questions you have forward them to houseoftrust@liberty.co.za.
